for a long time I considered Boxcutter to be just a poor man's Squarepusher. not only his name apes the warp legend but his earlier music sounded like cut and paste IDM by numbers. here we can see a change in direction, even if it does sound reminiscent of a more serious Luke Vibert (perhaps i'm being too tough on the guy). i should really give Boxcutter another go round.
